Fontys is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in the Netherlands and offers a variety of bachelors and masters programmes in English. They have a larger number of international students than any other university in the Netherlands, with students of more than 80 nationalities from all over the world.

The research conducted at Fontys is practice-based and innovative. The interaction between education and research contributes to keeping our teaching staff right at the forefront of developments in their subject areas. By way of their training in practice-based research, Fontys produces graduates who are professionals, armed with the skills required for acquiring knowledge, developing new knowledge and disseminating knowledge in professional practice.
